Banking
A Banking section: your bank statements right inside the shop.
Money arriving in your bank account is visible inside the shop: the statement is pulled in on its own, so you no longer open the internet bank just to check whether a payment came through. Transactions from every account sit in one register with filters and period totals.
What it does
- Creates a «Banking» section holding your accounts — each with its own name, colour and on/off switch.
- Pulls the statement on a schedule: every minute, 5, 15, 30 minutes or hourly; you can also start a load by hand with a button.
- Can download the whole account history month by month, and re-loading the same period never produces duplicates.
- Shows a register for one account or for all at once: filters by date range and by money in/out, plus turnover and the totals received and spent over the chosen period.
- Keeps the latest account balance together with the time it was refreshed.
- Announces every incoming payment: a card in the staff notification centre showing who paid, into which account and what for, plus e-mail, SMS, Telegram or WhatsApp per account settings.
- Stores bank access details encrypted and never shows them back in the form.
What you need
- The plugin for your bank — PrivatBank is available today; without one there is nothing to connect an account to.
- The access details your bank issues for the account.
- A regular scheduled task enabled on the server — statements are pulled automatically by it.
- A working task queue: loading by button runs in the background.
- For SMS, Telegram or WhatsApp — a configured connection in the shop's notifications; e-mail is sent right away.
The section in the new panel
Banking has moved into the new control panel: accounts with their balance and colour mark on the left, the transaction ledger with a summary for the period on the right. The state of the last sync is shown in the account header, and how often the shop fetches the statement and how often the list refreshes are set right there, under the account list.
An icon of its own
In the «Plugins» section and in the list of installed items the add-on now shows its own icon instead of an identical box, so you find the one you need at a glance. The icon appears on shops running version 1.30.0 and newer.
