Cash on delivery

Customers who are not ready to pay upfront want the familiar option of handing over the money on delivery. This plugin puts exactly that choice into checkout: the purchase is completed without prepayment and you collect the money from the courier or the delivery service.

What it does

• Puts a «Cash on delivery» option into checkout — cash or card paid to the courier.
• Completes checkout in a single step: there is no redirect to a payment page, the customer simply confirms the order.
• Tells the customer plainly that payment happens on delivery, so nobody wonders where they were supposed to pay.
• Leaves the order unpaid until you mark the money as received: nothing passes through the site, so a false «paid» mark cannot appear.
• Lets you name the method as you wish, attach it to a particular storefront, switch it on and off, and place it where you want in the list of payment options.

What you need

• Create a payment method of this type in the payment settings and enable it. No keys and no contract with a payment provider are required.
