Import and export
CSV/Excel (import and export)
Export and import products as a CSV or Excel table.
A spreadsheet is the quickest place to fix a catalogue: export the products to a file, correct prices and stock for hundreds of items at once, then load the file back. The same route brings a catalogue over from warehouse software or a supplier price list — you decide which column of the file goes into which field. The file opens in Excel and Google Sheets.
What it does
- Saves products or categories to CSV or Excel (XLSX) with the columns you pick yourself: name, descriptions, prices, stock, categories, photo links, attributes.
- Loads the same file back in — updates the products you already have and, if you want, creates the missing ones; a product is recognised by its variant code, number, page address or name.
- Lets you match the columns of someone else's file to your product fields by hand, so a supplier price list with any headings will do.
- For CSV you set the separator (comma, semicolon, tab) and the encoding, Windows-1251 included, so old price lists open without garbled text.
- Pulls photos in from links in the file: add them to the ones already uploaded, or replace them.
- Narrows down what to save: all products, selected categories, a product type, a brand, a saved list or a list of variant codes.

An icon of its own
In the «Plugins» section and in the list of installed items the add-on now shows its own icon instead of an identical box, so you find the one you need at a glance. The icon appears on shops running version 1.30.0 and newer.
