Monobank (acquiring)

Card acceptance through Monobank is the quickest of the lot to set up: a merchant token is all it takes, and cardholders of any bank can pay. The payment invoice is issued automatically, and the moment the money arrives the order becomes paid without you touching it.

What it does

• Issues an invoice for the order amount and sends the customer to the secure Monobank page: cards of any bank, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
• Marks the order as paid on the bank's confirmation, which is verified by the bank's signature, so the order status cannot be faked from outside.
• Does not treat a freshly created or still-processing invoice as payment — the order turns paid only once the money has actually landed.
• Can take payment with the amount held: the funds are reserved on the customer's card instead of being charged at once, and the hold can be released from the order.
• Closes an unpaid invoice after the period you set (a day by default), so stale payment links do not live forever.
• Lets you refund the customer straight from the order — in full or in part.

What you need

• Monobank acquiring enabled for your business and the merchant token from its cabinet.
• A shop reachable from the internet at its own address: the bank sends the payment confirmation to your site.
