SEO filter
Popular product selections become separate pages with a readable address.
Shoppers rarely look for «smartphones» — they look for «black smartphones with 128 GB», and end up either at a competitor or in your general section, where they still have to filter. This add-on turns such selections into standalone pages with a short address and their own text, the kind of page a search engine shows for an exact query.
What it does
- Builds a selection page from filter conditions — feature values, ranges, price — and gives it a short readable address inside the section.
- Every selection gets its own heading, description, keywords and texts above and below the product list, in each language of the shop.
- Creates selections in bulk: pick a section and the features, and a page appears for every value that actually has products; headings are filled in for you and duplicates are skipped.
- Puts links to selections on the product page next to the feature value, and shows the other selections of the same section on the selection page itself.
- Sends a shopper who filtered products by hand to the short address of the matching selection if one already exists; any selection can be switched off or hidden from search.
- Passes selections to the sitemap, and keeps plain filtered listings without a selection out of search so they do not dilute the section.
What you need
- The features you build selections from must be enabled in the section filter and have a list of values.
- The «Sitemap» add-on, if you want selections included in the sitemap.
What we fixed
A customer on a landing page such as "Switches" ticked "In stock only" or "On sale", and the store sent them back to the same landing page with the tick gone, so the list did not change. Now the store shows the category with the chosen conditions, and filtering by stock and discount works. The same goes for choosing a warehouse.

The page address in search (canonical) pointed to a non-existent URL in the shop's second language: the language prefix was added twice, so the search engine got a link to an empty page. The address is now correct in every language.
Addresses of created pages are written the same way as product addresses: "шампунь" becomes shampun and "Солнышко" becomes solnyshko. Previously they came out as sampun and solnysko, so a page was spelled differently from the products in the same category.
Pages are no longer created for values that show no products at all. The shop used to trust the filter counter, so some pages opened empty and still went into the sitemap and into search.
Abbreviations in a feature name are kept: "sIM-карта" became "SIM-карта". A misspelled variable and a line break no longer end up in the page heading.
The "Update texts of pages created earlier" switch no longer rewrites pages you built or corrected yourself — only the ones the shop created automatically.
When a page is saved, the shop checks the selection conditions and explains what is wrong: the value does not belong to the chosen feature, the "from" bound is greater than "to", the price is below zero, the address is taken or matches a catalog subsection. Such a page used to be created and open empty.
A page beyond the last one in the product list returns "page not found", just like a regular section, and the sitemap is rebuilt right after a page is created or deleted instead of an hour later.
After updating
If pages already exist, open "SEO → SEO filter", check the pattern and press "Generate" with "Update texts of pages created earlier" switched on — the headings will be rebuilt. Pages with empty results created by the previous version are better deleted: the shop will not create new ones like that.
What's new
The heading and description of the pages the plugin creates automatically are now built from your own pattern. In the "Create pages automatically" block you write the pattern once per shop language: the category name, the feature name and its value are filled in for you, and you add what people search for — "buy wholesale in Kyiv, prices from…". The result is a heading like "Bottles volume 300 ml — buy wholesale in Kyiv", and that is how the page is found in search. Previously the heading was built short, "Apple — Catalog", and there was nowhere to add the query to it.
The search description comes from the same pattern, so you no longer write it for every page separately. If you had to correct the pattern, switch on "Update texts of pages created earlier" and the headings and descriptions of existing pages are rebuilt.
After updating
Open "SEO → SEO filter" and fill in your own heading and description patterns. If the pages already exist, switch on "Update texts of pages created earlier" and press "Generate": texts written by hand are replaced.
Selection pages in "by conditions" categories
Automatic pages by volume and weight now also work in "by conditions" categories: values are taken from products that match the category conditions. Requires store version 2.53.4.

Numeric features such as volume, weight and diameter are now in the SEO filter feature list. Automatic creation makes a page for every value your category products have: "30 ml" at 30-ml, "0.5 ml" at 0-5-ml. Each page shows exactly the products with that value, and running it again creates no duplicates.
The manual page editor with "from" and "to" fields needs store version 2.53.2.
The back link is now labelled
The section shows an «All landing pages» link that takes you from an open page back to the list. In the previous version an internal code was shown in its place.
The section in the new panel
Landing pages are set up in the new control panel: the list of pages, the selection rules and the texts in every language live on one screen. Creating pages automatically no longer hides behind a collapsed block: choose a category and features, and the shop creates the pages itself.
An icon of its own
In the «Plugins» section and in the list of installed items the add-on now shows its own icon instead of an identical box, so you find the one you need at a glance. The icon appears on shops running version 1.30.0 and newer.
