SMS: SMS Fly
SMS to shoppers through the Ukrainian service SMS Fly.
A confirmation reaches the customer before doubt sets in. SMS Fly is a Ukrainian messaging service, and with this add-on the shop texts the customer by itself: messages go to local mobile networks and carry your shop name as the sender.
What it does
- Sends a text on shop events: order placed, status changed, order paid, new customer registered.
- Builds the text from order data — number, total, status, customer name, shop name; ready wordings in three languages are included.
- Limits how long a message stays valid to five minutes, so a phone that was switched off does not receive stale order news a day later.
- Lets you enter your own connection address if your SMS Fly account was given a separate one; leave it empty to use the usual address of the service.
- Adds the country code to local Ukrainian numbers, so a phone saved as 067… goes out correctly.
- Shows the full SMS Fly reply in the log: the refusal code and description, or the message id on success; a test send from the settings checks the connection.
What you need
- An SMS Fly contract and a topped-up balance.
- An access key from your SMS Fly account.
- A sender name approved by the operator — the customer sees it instead of a number.
The plugin speaks the language of your panel
The service name and the hints for its fields now live in the plugin itself and are translated into Russian, Ukrainian and English. They used to sit in the engine, where a disabled plugin still took up space and translations had to wait for a shop update.
An icon of its own
In the «Plugins» section and in the list of installed items the add-on now shows its own icon instead of an identical box, so you find the one you need at a glance. The icon appears on shops running version 1.30.0 and newer.
