SMS: universal HTTP
SMS through any service that has no ready-made add-on.
Not every operator has a ready-made add-on, and switching a supplier you are happy with just for that makes little sense. Here you describe the connection yourself, following the instructions of your operator, and the shop starts texting customers about their orders through the service you already use.
What it does
- Sends a text on shop events: order placed, status changed, order paid, new customer registered.
- Puts order data into the text — number, total, status, customer name, shop name; ready wordings in three languages are included.
- Lets you set the sending address of your operator and the request method — GET or POST.
- In the parameter template you place the {to} and {text} markers: the customer number and the message text are substituted for them, while the access key and the other parameters of your operator go in alongside.
- Treats a send as successful when the service answers successfully; otherwise the full reply of the operator lands in the log, showing which parameter it disliked.
- The number is sent exactly as stored in the order, so keep phones in one consistent format; a test send helps verify the setup.
What you need
- A contract with the operator and a paid-up balance.
- Instructions from your operator: the sending address and the list of required parameters.
- The access key from the operator — it goes straight into the parameter template.
The plugin speaks the language of your panel
The service name and the hints for its fields now live in the plugin itself and are translated into Russian, Ukrainian and English. They used to sit in the engine, where a disabled plugin still took up space and translations had to wait for a shop update.
An icon of its own
In the «Plugins» section and in the list of installed items the add-on now shows its own icon instead of an identical box, so you find the one you need at a glance. The icon appears on shops running version 1.30.0 and newer.
