SMS: TurboSMS
SMS to shoppers through the Ukrainian service TurboSMS.
TurboSMS is one of the most widely used Ukrainian messaging services, so if you already have an account there the shop can start texting customers the same day. A confirmation text removes half of the calls asking whether the order arrived at all.
What it does
- Sends a text on shop events: order placed, status changed, order paid, new customer registered.
- Puts order data into the text — number, total, status, customer name and shop name; ready wordings in three languages are included.
- Checks the phone number before contacting the operator: if the customer left no phone, or an email ended up in the field, no paid attempt is wasted and the log shows a plain reason.
- Understands TurboSMS service replies and does not treat a message accepted into the queue as a failure, so the log is not full of false refusals.
- Adds the country code to local Ukrainian numbers, so a phone saved as 067… goes out correctly.
- Test send to your own phone from the settings; with several storefronts each can have its own connection.
What you need
- A TurboSMS account with money on the balance.
- An access token from your TurboSMS account.
- A registered sender alpha-name — TurboSMS requires one.
The plugin speaks the language of your panel
The service name and the hints for its fields now live in the plugin itself and are translated into Russian, Ukrainian and English. They used to sit in the engine, where a disabled plugin still took up space and translations had to wait for a shop update.
An icon of its own
In the «Plugins» section and in the list of installed items the add-on now shows its own icon instead of an identical box, so you find the one you need at a glance. The icon appears on shops running version 1.30.0 and newer.
