Abandoned carts
Collects abandoned carts and reminds shoppers about them by email or message.
Part of your revenue is lost halfway: a shopper fills a cart, gets distracted and never comes back. The plugin lists those carts — items, totals and contact details — and reminds the shopper about them while the interest is still warm.
What it does
- Collects abandoned carts in a section of their own: who they are, what they put in, for how much, when they left and which reminders they have already received.
- Sends reminders by rules: each rule has its own delay (an hour, a day, three days), its own channel — email or SMS — and its own wording. Several rules make a chain.
- You write the text yourself and drop in the shopper's name, the list of items, quantities, the total, the shop name and a link back to the cart — a promo code fits in nicely there too.
- The link in a reminder opens the shopper's own cart with the same items, so nothing has to be picked out again.
- No duplicates: one rule sends a cart one reminder only, even if the mailing runs a second time.
- Rules can be shared or set separately for each storefront, and any reminder can be sent by hand without waiting for its turn.
What you need
- Turn reminders on in the plugin settings.
- Working email delivery for the email channel, or a connected SMS provider for the SMS channel.
- A working task schedule on the server: it is what marks carts as abandoned and sends the reminders.
What appears in the shop
This is what a shopper sees once it is installed.
New shop pages
- /cart/restore/{код} The address from the reminder: the customer clicks the link in the email and lands right in their cart with the same items. The address has no page of its own — it opens your usual cart. The reminder text is edited in the notifications section.
Migration to CartiX 2.0.0
The add-on now works with the new CartiX 2.0 admin panel: it brings its own labels and speaks the language the staff member selected.
The reminder describes the cart the way it was filled
The letter about a forgotten cart now shows the unit next to the quantity, and whatever the shopper took by the pack is written as packs — «6 packs (8.4 sqm)». Before that they saw «8.4 × 549 UAH» and did not recognise their own order.
An icon of its own
In the «Plugins» section and in the list of installed items the add-on now shows its own icon instead of an identical box, so you find the one you need at a glance. The icon appears on shops running version 1.30.0 and newer.
