Documents to cloud

Your accountants need the very invoices and delivery notes the shop prints, and usually somebody forwards them by hand. This plugin does it for you: buttons appear on the order card, and a press sends the document to a shared folder as a ready PDF file. The same document can travel on its own when the order reaches a given status.

What it does

• Sends any of your printed forms — an invoice, a delivery note, one of your own — exactly as it looks when printed in the shop.
• Lets you set up as many rules as you need: each has its own form, folder, file name and moment of sending. Every rule gets its own button on the order.
• Shows a button only on the orders it suits: a rule can be limited to certain payment methods, so it stays out of the way everywhere else.
• Sorts documents into folders by itself: the path template takes the year, month, day, order number, customer and company name, and the folders are created on the first upload.
• Counts the year and month from the order date or from the payment date, as you prefer: invoices are usually filed by order date, delivery notes by payment date.
• Works with SFTP, FTPS and plain FTP storages, and with a folder on the same server when the accounting drive is mounted there.
• Tests the connection before the first upload: the shop writes a probe file, reads it back and tells you whether the folder is writable.
• Records every upload in the order history, so you always see which document went out and when. If the connection drops, the shop retries on its own.

What you need

• The storage details: server address, login and password. A folder on the same server needs only the path.
• Document forms live in «Settings» → «Printed forms»: a rule sends the form you picked in it.
